Using quality systems to become more circular

Only 7,3% of our economy can be categorised as circular, since the fifties the global CO levels have sextupled, and even though the world is looking for more sustainable options, a lot of 'sustainable' solutions hold manufacturing challenges that don't hold up in a sustainable world. 

How can quality standards and -systems help your organisation to become more circular?
A couple of examples:

• Understanding organisational context is key! ISO certification can help to map out the context of your organisation and help you understand where you are positioned in the ecosystem. 

• 5 standards series is in development by ISO with a focus on a more circular economy
  
  
• The EFQM model raises the question: How do we provide leadership? Management reviews and leadership skills are crucial to good quality management.
  
  
• Have you raised the question: Are we measuring the transition to a more circular future or the end-result impact?
  
  
• Without engaging your partners the circle can not be closed. You need to work together with suppliers and your ecosystem.
  
  
• Consider a Digital product passport: how is it build? Is it sustainable?
